PA Fire Police Officer Struck by Car, Suffers Serious Head Injury

A Whitehall fire police officer was assisting with traffic control at a non-injury crash when a car hit the officer.

A Whitehall fire police officer was assisting with traffic control at a non-injury crash when a car hit the officer. He was knocked unconscious with a head injury. The Assistant Fire Chief radioed for an ambulance to expedite and updated the paramedics that their patient was Class 1 (serious injuries). Medic 62 rushed the officer to the trauma center in serious condition.
